great moments in pavlovian conditioning

Today, as I was walking across campus to check my mail at the union, I saw a bunch of marching band kids heading into the dining hall. Just off of a week of teaching little maggots (just kidding) how to march, I felt the strong urge to call them to attention to see if any of them flinched into the early stages of a ten-hut.

I didn't, deciding I'd look like an ass if they did it or not.

It kind of reminds me of this.
